Sleepy Hollow Chipper Days: Friday & Saturday, May 5-6

Chipper Days: May 5 & 6 (DROP-OFF ONLY)

Sleepy Hollow Fire Protection District, with Ross Valley Fire Department and FIRESafe MARIN will conduct four chipper days in 2017!   The first will be a DROP-OFF chipper day this Friday and Saturday, May 5 & 6, 2017.   Sleepy Hollow residents can clean up their property to create defensible space and bring us your cut material - we'll dispose of the vegetation at no cost to you!  This service is available to Sleepy Hollow residents only.

DROP-OFF ONLY

Location: End of Butterfield Rd.
No registration required
 
July 1-2, 2017
Curbside Pick-Up
Time: 9AM-4PM
Location: At the curbside in front of your home.
Online registration required! (Registration begins June 1)
 
August 26-27, 2017 (tentative)
Curbside Pick-Up
Time: 9AM-4PM
Location: At the curbside in front of your home.
Online registration required! (Registration begins August 1)
 
October 7, 2017 (to coincide with the creek clean up)

WHAT WILL THE CREWS REMOVE?

Chipper crews will dispose of up to 5 yards of cut vegetation at no cost (approximately 4'x4'x8', stacked).  Larger quantities must be pre-approved.  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for instructions.

Crews will dispose of larger materials that won't fit in your green waste cans (1"-6" diameter limbs, brush, branches, etc).  Grass clippings, loose leaves, soft vegetation can't be chipped and must be disposed of in your green waste cans.
