AvidGreen helped achieve Firewise USA Recognition for a 45-acre (325-home) community in Novato in December, 2018. Worked closely with the HOA Board, Landscape Committee, Novato Fire, and FireSafe Marin. Continuing annual, budgeted maintenance of defensible space, weeds, shrubs, low tree limbs, branch structure and aesthetics, plus replanting only with firesafe and sustainable plants at this and other client sites. Scott Sherman PhD, President and CEO of AvidGreen, is now engaged to achieve FireWise USA Recognition for the 1250-home community of Greenbrae north of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard.
