Webinar Series

A webinar series with a focus on community wildfire education.

About the Program

The wildfire preparedness education webinars has been developed by Fire Safe Marin in conjunction with the Marin County Fire Chiefs’ Association, Marin County Fire Prevention Officers Association, UC Marin Master Gardeners (UCCE), Ecologically Sound Practices (ESP), and wildfire and home hardening experts. Leading experts in wildfire preparedness, defensible space and landscaping, home hardening and building science, and evacuation preparedness, cover a new topic each month.

This educational series is delivered online and presented in a 60-minute webinar format. The schedule for these monthly webinars is posted online and can be viewed live, with participant questions and answers.

There is nothing like hearing this information from those who actually have experienced fires and disasters to drive the points home. There were many wonderful comments from the attendees who seem truly inspired to take action. We were all impressed and look forward to continued learning opportunities from all of you.

Living with Wildfire was succinct, practical, focused, and expert. It’s one of the best I’ve seen.
