Emergency resources and training for people with disabilities in Marin
People with access and functional needs include the very young, old and many of us in between. Do you or someone you love need assistance preparing for an emergency? Rely on electrically powered medical equipment? Need help and transportation in the event of a disaster? We all need to be part of a strategic plan that sets people up for success and gets them the resources they need to get out of harm’s way. Eli Geradin (Executive Director of Marin Center for Independent Living) is here to answer your questions and walk us through emergency plans that take into consideration different needs and abilities. He will provide checklists and highlight a network of resources that can help. Featured guests Hattie Cook and Mary Davis will share their personal stories of emergency preparation and the power of community.
