There’s a Need
Wildfire is one of the greatest threats to homes in Marin and other fire-prone regions. As embers, heat, and flames spread, they can ignite houses directly or indirectly, and that often leads to the destruction of entire neighborhoods. Homeowners are increasingly aware of these risks, and many now face the added pressure of losing their home insurance if they don’t take action to reduce them.

Fire Safe Marin, the region’s leading wildfire education organization, has partnered with world-renowned wildfire scientist Dr. Steve Quarles, Marin Wildfire, and the Marin Community Foundation to create this first-of-its-kind online training course, free of charge for licensed contractors.

In about five hours of self-paced learning through Fire Safe Academy’s online portal, you will:
