Demonstrations
We will be adding descriptions of the various demonstrations taking place at Ember Stomp as we get closer to the event.
LIVE BURN DEMOS
Weather permitting, we plan to have a burn demo every half hour starting at 11am. Learn about the fire characteristics of various types of building materials and vegetation.
NON COMBUSTIBLE FENCING, GATES, AND DECKS
We will have a number of full size exhibits from local contractors and manufacturers showcasing attractive options for these products.
HOME HARDENING
Featured displays include heat and ember resistant vents, soffits, decks, wall assemblies, gutter screens and other elements of a wildfire prepared home.
GO BAG STATION
Learn different ways to make a go bag including low cost solutions using materials you already have in your home.
EMBER IGNITION DEMONSTRATIONS
Engage in interactive demonstrations illustrating role of embers in home ignitions and areas of vulnerability.
WILDFIRE HISTORY
Featured displays include images, maps and statistics relaed to Marin and California’s wildfire history.
