GEOGRAPHIC DESCRIPTION OF THE Firewise SITE AREA (NOTEWORTHY LANDMARKS, STREET BOUNDARIES):
The Lower Edgewood Firewise Neighborhood of 80 homes is a corridor including short lanes along both sides of Edgewood Avenue and a portion of Marion Avenue. It runs from 100 Edgewood Avenue through 329 Edgewood Avenue. The lanes include: Douglas Drive, Cedarwood, Ridgewood, Sunset and Daffodil. All are “dead ends” except Daffodil. It also includes 333 Marion Avenue to 439 Marion Avenue.
Edgewood Avenue runs along the top of the ridge line of the hill between Mill Valley and Homestead Valley in a heavily wooded area.
